I hope you don't mind my posting in your group, Shi... but this is in response to your dog blog that you posted earlier today and I wanted to make sure the same people saw.
Apparently, someone in my neighborhood just got a Shar-pug puppy (that's a Shar-pei/pug mix). Every time I go to the dog park, everyone is all like, "Oh my GOD have you seen the Shar-pug puppy yet?" and I have to say "Nooooo, I still haven't seen it!" 
So Shi's post reminded me of it, and I did a Google image search to find one. Holy crap, is it cute. First, a reminder of its mommy and daddy.

8I LOVE Shar-pei!! My mom use to trick me all the time and tell me if I got good grades she'd buy me one...and I kept waiting, but the damn dog never came! Trickster.
This dog is soo cute, I don't know if I could handle the pug in it though. Sorry Pug lovers!!

22I finally saw the puppy last night - she is UNBELIEVABLY cute and very sweet and friendly! I wish I'd had my camera. There's another shar-pei that comes to the park all the time and he is very sweet, too.
Apparently, "shar-pug" isn't what the mix is really called, it's just slang. They're actually called "ori-pei."
Seriously, look how cute this ori-pei puppy is.

28I have an ori-pei. I got her at a pet store and we had a lot of problems at first. But she is the BEST dog I have ever had. She's patient and smart and willful. She is my best friend and I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with her!!! I highly recommend this breed to anyone who is looking for a companion. Just, PLEASE, don't go to a pet store! It was a nightmare...
