I love historical stuff like this!! If I had the patience to sit through chemistry classes and advance math classes, I would have *so* been an archeoligist or geologist! I loved those classes
and almost, *almost* miss going to college.
If archaeology paid well and if I wasn't allergic to dust and that "old clothes" smell I would have been the female version of Indiana Jones!
BB the doggies were mummified because they were respected as loyal companions, isn't that lovely?

I'm kind of sad that the doggers was dug up from his final resting place, but on the other hand it is interesting that they are doing tests to see similarities with the modern Peruvian dogs.
I'm glad to see that their culture honoured and respected the dogs, it sounds like they were laid to rest lovingly.
